The date on which a pregnant PERSON is expected to give birth.

This will be calculated as follows:

• from the LAST MENSTRUAL PERIOD DATE if the Dating Ultrasound Scan agrees within 7 days or,
• if the difference is more than 7 days, the date calculated from the Dating Ultrasound Scan will be taken.
• If neither of these are available, a clinical assessment is used.

The method of calculation for the date is as identified by the ESTIMATED DATE OF DELIVERY METHOD.
