PERSON PHENOTYPIC SEX is observed by a PERSON (such as a CARE PROFESSIONAL), and is not self-stated.
PERSON GENDER will be replaced with PERSON STATED GENDER or PERSON PHENOTYPIC SEX, which is the most recent approved national information standard to describe the required definition.
