A Relationship shows how Classes are related to each other.

For example a PATIENT may be the subject of many ACTIVITIES, for example, have many Accident and Emergency Attendances.

Relationships between Classes are shown in Diagrams with a line connecting the Classes as in the example below:

Note: The numbers at the top and bottom of the connecting line are known as Cardinality.
