DATE TIME OF BIRTH (BABY) is the same as data element DATE AND TIME, from the End Date and End Time of the Fetus Episode.
The DATE corresponds to:
- the PERSON BIRTH DATE of the baby, where a REGISTRABLE BIRTH was recorded
or
- the recorded End Date of the Fetus Episode, where the mother miscarried a Fetus during the associated Maternity Episode i.e. where the pregnancy ends in or before the 24th week of gestation (which excludes it being recorded as a REGISTRABLE BIRTH).
