Drug Misuse Episode is an ACTIVITY GROUP.

An episode of care provided to a drug misuser. It begins when a drug misuser uses a drug misuse facility for the first time or returns after a period of at least six months. A user of multiple drug misuse facilities from one Drug Misuse Agency will have multiple Drug Misuse Episodes.

There may also be a Community Episode for the PATIENT concerning the substance misused if during the Drug Misuse Episode the PATIENT is in contact with a community psychiatric nurse.
