Notes:
The total number of TRANSPORT REQUEST INCIDENTS where an Emergency Ambulance has arrived at the scene within 19 minutes from the TRANSPORT REQUEST CALL CONNECT TIME.
This should be reported for RESPONSE CATEGORIES of 'Category A: Immediately life threatening - presenting conditions which require a fully equipped Emergency Ambulance to attend the incident' or 'Category B: serious but not immediately life threatening'.
For Category A, this is derived from the difference in time between the TRANSPORT REQUEST CALL CONNECT TIME or the FIRST RESPONSE AMBULANCE REQUEST TIME (whichever is the earlier) and the AMBULANCE ARRIVAL TIME.
For Category B, this is derived from the difference in time between the TRANSPORT REQUEST CALL CONNECT TIME and the AMBULANCE ARRIVAL TIME.
If there have been multiple calls or Emergency Transport Requests to a TRANSPORT REQUEST INCIDENT, only one Emergency Transport Request should be reported.
19 minutes means 19 minutes and zero seconds or less (1140 or less seconds).
