An indicator of whether or not a Radiology Department or a Pathology Department has facilities for diagnosing acute opportunist infections. An opportunistic infection is an infection in people with impaired immunity for organisms which do not pose a threat to those with normal immunity. This is required for HIV/AIDS monitoring.
