An Integrated Care System is a collaboration where NHS ORGANISATIONS are in partnership with Local Authorities and other bodies, taking collective responsibility for managing resources, delivering NHS standards and improving the health of the population they serve.
An Integrated Care System is an evolvement of a Sustainability and Transformation Partnership to form a closer collaboration between the NHS and Local Authorities.
