Description
WHOLE TUMOUR SIZE is the whole size of the Tumour, where the UNIT OF MEASUREMENT is 'Millimetres (mm)'.
For the Cancer Outcomes and Services Data Set: Pathology Core, WHOLE TUMOUR SIZE is only required during a Breast Cancer Care Spell where the Tumour has a DUCTAL CARCINOMA IN SITU GRADE.
Note: This item does not adhere to NHS England Data Design Principles but cannot be changed for this version of the data set as it is included in the Royal College of Pathologists data set only. It should not be used in any other data set until the Data Design Principles are met.
