OCCUPATION CODE (CLINICAL SPECIALTY) is the primary (main) specialty NHS OCCUPATION CODE of a doctor or dentist.
The medical and dental specialty NHS OCCUPATION CODES are currently used exclusively for National Workforce and Electronic Staff Record purposes.
Note: these codes are not the same as those used for MAIN SPECIALTY CODE.
