HORMONE EXPRESSION TYPE (IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY) is the type of hormone expression determined by immunohistochemistry (a technique used to identify specific molecules in different kinds of TISSUE) for a PATIENT with central nervous system cancer during a Central Nervous System Cancer Care Spell.
Note: HORMONE EXPRESSION TYPE (IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY) is recorded for pituitary adenomas only.
