The type of accommodation that a PATIENT currently has.

This should be based on the PATIENT's main or permanent residence.

Note: National Codes 09 ' Care Home Services without Nursing' and 10 ' Care Home Services with Nursing' have been updated in Data Dictionary Change Notice 1897 "Care Homes". The Data Set specifications that contain this item will be updated in the next version of the Information Standard where it is not already correct.

ACCOMMODATION STATUS CODE will be replaced with ACCOMMODATION TYPE, which is the most recent approved national information standard to describe the required definition.
