The total number of GP WRITTEN REFERRALS with a particular effective waiting time band, whether from doctors or dentists, measured from receipt of the referral and the first Out-Patient Attendance Consultant.
The effective waiting time band should be calculated from the FIRST ATTENDANCE EFFECTIVE WAIT START DATE which takes into account any waiting time resets instigated by the PATIENT.
It is the total number of GP WRITTEN REFERRALS where:
a. | the REFERRAL REQUEST TYPE of the REFERRAL REQUEST is National Code 01 'GP referral request' | ||

b. | the WRITTEN REFERRAL REQUEST INDICATOR of the REFERRAL REQUEST is classification 'Yes' | ||

c. | the REFERRAL REQUEST is to a CONSULTANT for an Out-Patient Appointment Consultant | ||

d. | the FIRST ATTENDANCE of the Out-Patient Attendance Consultant CARE CONTACT is National Code 1 'First attendance face to face' or 3 'First telephone or telemedicine consultation' | ||

the ACTIVITY DATE of the Out-Patient Attendance Consultant CARE CONTACT is within the period of the REPORTING PERIOD START DATE and the REPORTING PERIOD END DATE | |||
