Immunisation Programme is a HEALTH PROGRAMME.
An Immunisation Programme aimed at maintaining an adequate level of immunisation in a population against a specific VACCINE PREVENTABLE DISEASE by a determined sequence of IMMUNISATION COURSE TYPES.
Each programme has a recommended number of doses which depend on the VACCINE PREVENTABLE DISEASE being targeted. For example (this is not an exclusive list).
