The Protected Characteristic Protocol (Disability) (PCP-D) is a type of ASSESSMENT TOOL.
The Protected Characteristic Protocol (Disability) is designed to identify PATIENTS who have a health problem or DISABILITY that limits day-to-day activities and which has lasted, or is expected to last, at least twelve months.
For PATIENTS who are identified with a health problem or DISABILITY which affects day-to-day activities, a list of further questions are asked.
The responses for each of the items are as follows:
- 01 - Yes, limited a lot
- 02 - Yes, limited a little
- 03 - No, not limited
- 04 - Prefer not to say
- NA - Not applicable (for use with Protected Characteristic Protocol (Disability) questions 5 and 6 only)
If the PATIENT answers that they have no DISABILITY or respond that they 'Prefer not to say', no further questions are asked.
