Group Therapy is a SESSION.

Group Therapy is a SESSION where more than one PATIENT attends at the same time, to see one or more CARE PROFESSIONALS.  Clinical notes are recorded in each individual PATIENT's casenotes.

For the Community Information Data Set, Group Therapy is recorded as a CARE CONTACT.  Group Sessions are recorded when the attendees at the SESSION are not known in advance, and clinical notes are not made in individual PATIENT records.
